Dual C&D winner who appears to thrive when racing on Tapeta (also consistent at Newcastle). Competitive in handicap company on turf the past twice and a key player on these terms in this grade with a useful 7lb claimer booked.
Bombed out badly on turf debut at Nottingham last month (last of 14), so no surprise he's switched back to synthetics after some decent runs on various artificial surfaces. A major player on his 6f Kempton handicap debut second to Deeds Not Words in late May, but a worry he drops into this grade so quickly.
Veteran, but a regular AW winner and sprung a major shock when downing the 1/7f Dutch Golden Age in a 5f claimer here last month. Won at this track three times in the early part of 2016, but all of those victories came over a shorter trip and that's the chief concern today.
Not tasted success since June 2016 (7f at Ayr) and historically is better suited to racing on turf than the AW (nine race maiden). However, yet to race on synthetics for this excellent trainer and this isn't the most taxing of contests, but this shorter trip doesn't appear ideal.
Course winner who has won betwee 5f and 7f, but has been most effective during the later stages of his career over the minimum trip. Lost his way after winning at Southwell in January, but possibly on the way back judged upon his most recent third of six at Lingfield.

Favourite Treat (6/4), Pushkin Museum (11/4), Arctic Angel (3/1), Point North (15/2), Dream Ally (8/1), Noah Amor (10/1), Elusivity (14/1), Louis Vee (33/1), Glam'selle (33/1)
Tapeta regular PUSHKIN MUSEUM looks the solid option in this classified claiming stakes. This likeable enough six-year-old has maintained a consistent level of form since winning a couple of C&D handicaps earlier this year, and his recent efforts on turf (in much better races than this) suggest he'll take all of the beating on a surface he clearly adores. Arctic Angel would be the most obvious alternative if obliterating his below par turf debut from the form book.
