Completed a double when winning over an extended 2m here on yielding-to-soft ground last month. Had previously won at Clonmel (good-to-yielding) and likely to run well off this 9lb higher mark.
Placed on final two starts for Gerard Keane including when 3L second of 16 at Ballinrobe (good) in May. Interesting runner off a 2lb higher mark on debut for current yard.
Finished runner-up the last twice including behind Bective Cave here on his penultimate outing. Rated 3lb higher than when second at Downpatrick (good) last time and one for the shortlist here.
Placed once from ten starts under rules. Fair effort when beaten 6L on handicap debut at Gowran Park (good-to-firm) last time and interesting if building on that effort here.

In what is likely to be a highly competitive affair Ted Bach who has run some sound races in defeat recently can claim third dropping back in trip in this.
