Improved on previous efforts when dropping in trip to finish runner-up in a four runner contest at Southwell (good) last time out. Better ground also likely to have helped on that occasion and interesting to see how he fares here.
Point-to-point winner on soft ground in Ireland back in May. Best effort under rules came when 21L third of seven over C&D on debut last month. Well held subsequently however.
Point-to-point winner at Tyrella (yielding-to-soft) in March but held twice in that sphere subsequently and beaten 21L into fourth in a six runner contest at newton Abbot (good) on rules debut last month. Drops markedly in trip today.
Winner of a bumper at Sedgefield (good-to-firm) at the third time of asking in May last year but well held at Mark Rasen subsequently. Off for nearly a year and making his hurdles debut for a new stable today.
Well held in four outings in Ireland for previous stable. Most recent effort came when beaten 27L in a bumper at Punchestown (good) in May and debuts for a new yard here.
Not beaten far when sixth in a Taunton (good) bumper for Paul Nicholls in November 2015. Pulled up and beaten 30L in two starts for current stable spread out over nearly 16 months and probably best watched here.
Beaten 2½L when finishing third of six on debut for this stable at Huntingdon (good) in May. Making his first appearance in nearly two years on that occasion and likely to be involved in the finish if repeating that effort in this.
Came within a head of breaking his duck in a maiden hurdle at Fakenham (good) last month. Disappointing third when sent off favourite subsequently and wears blinkers and a tongue tie for the first time today.
Signs of ability in a point-to-point and two bumpers in Ireland. Beaten 25L when ninth of 11 at Roscommon (yielding-to-soft) last month and worth a check in the market on debut for a good yard here.
Dual point-to-point winner in Ireland last October but pulled up on final two starts in that sphere this spring. Beaten a minimum of 63L in three starts for this stable and likely to be of more interest once tackling handicaps.
Well beaten in two completions over hurdles having pulled up when making her debut at Bangor over an extended 2m last month. Others make more appeal today.
Forecasts
Psychedelic Rock (9/4), Best Practice (9/4), Coroberee (3/1), Triggitas (8/1), Jacobite Rising (12/1), Rob Robin (20/1), Mister Mister (40/1), Breaking Ground (50/1), Patience Tony (50/1), Pink Champers (80/1), Lady Jameson (150/1)
TRIGGITAS can take this maiden hurdle contest for trainer Paul Webber. The selection ran well when third at Huntingdon last time out and can register a first victory in this contest. Coroberee wears blinkers and tongue tie for the first time in this and can finish second having come close to breaking his maiden over hurdles on his penultimate outing at Fakenham while Best Practice can follow up his Stratford second by claiming third in what looks a much more competitive race here.
- Triggitas
- Coroberee
