Reeled off a hat-trick over this trip on Southwell's Fibresand in the winter and made an encouraging return to turf at Pontefract in April when 9lb higher. Has been unable to go on from that, but ought to be capable of getting competitive now dropped to this grade. Market check advised.
Put in an encouraging effort in a Lingfield maiden (1m, AW) in the winter, but out of sorts on both subsequent starts, including on turf (1m, good to firm) at Yarmouth last time. 5lb lower here, but we need to see more in handicaps before recommending.
Has been very busy of late, running five times since the beginning of May, his reappearance effort at Chepstow (1m, good to soft), and his latest outing here over C&D (good), being the best of them. A 1lb drop will help but he needs to find a bit more to be winning this.
All three wins were at Southwell in 2014 and 2015, though he can get competitive on turf, as he showed several times from 2lb higher last season. Handicapper has given him a squeak on his first start for this yard, whose latest runner won. Market check advised.
0-19 so far. Has had just two starts for this yard, who do well with this type of performer, but the signs so far are that he needs more of a drop in the handicap before he will break his duck.
Put in a couple of reasonably encouraging efforts last season at Lingfield (7½f, good to firm) and Deauville (7½f, AW). Acts on this ground and makes his handicap debut from a fair-looking mark. Yard a little quiet, so perhaps best watched unless market speaks positively.
Goes well here, with two of her three wins being at the track, though all of those have been on soft or heavy ground. Vastly different conditions forecast here and, although she was only 4½L adrift from 7lb higher here in May, she might just find things happening a little too quickly for her.
On a losing run of 21 since his sole success over 6f in 2015. Well held in all three starts on turf from similar marks just lately and hard to enthuse over his chances of arresting the barren spell.
Solitary turf win came in 2015 at Chepstow (1m, good to soft) from 1lb higher. Well held on recent starts and, although he does act on fast ground, it takes a leap of faith to see him coming back to form.
Has slid 17lb since going handicapping last season and barely got competitive. Thrashed on all three starts on turf this term and nothing for us to latch on to from a betting perspective going into this.

Poor fayre where Shearian should be able to get very competitive now that he drops in grade. Imperial Link is respected at this venue, though she would ideally want some cut in the ground, while Rock On Dandy represents top connections and a better effort would not surprise. Valley Of Rocks went well here last time and is feared, though the suggestion is to take a chance on ROGER THORPE, who has his first run for a yard whose last runner won. He was competitive several times on turf last year and looks to be on a decent mark.
