Twice a winner here back in 2015, form this season not so good but did go close at Fakenham in April and on same mark here. Slight question mark over this trip though, and does need to refind form after a couple of mediocre efforts.

Money was down when he won at Stratford two starts back and unlucky to bump into a well handicapped one at Worcester on latest start. Trip and likely ground ideal and looks one of the more obvious candidates for top honours here.

Plenty of promise in novice hurdles last season but hasn't really progressed as expected, and well beaten at Ffos Las latest. Too soon to write her off completely, but does need to come back to her best here.

Big prices all three starts over hurdles so far and in truth, hasn't shown much, but is useful on the Flat and did show enough at Taunton in January to suggest there could be something to be won over hurdles with him. Nicely handicapped and worth a look in the market.

You have to go back to 2013 to find the last time he won (on the Flat) and despite being well backed at Fontwell on latest start, gave up quickly. Debut for new yard here and first time cheekpieces will need to have a major effect.

Winner on the Flat for Stuart Edmunds last year, ran okay when second at Towcester in May and not disgraced on first run for new yard at Newbury on the Flat recently. Conditions fine and trainer very adept at turning these sorts around. Interesting.

Hampered when an early faller here on latest start, so that's easily forgiven, and earlier back-to-form win over C&D previously gives her every chance here. Never the most consistent though, so no guarantees of repeating it, and from a 7lb higher mark, others preferred.

Useful front-runner at his best, but that was some time ago and no win since 2014. Well handicapped these days but that's been the case for some while now and he shows no sign of being able to take advantage. Likely to need this after an absence and others hold better claims.

Running well enough without looking like she's about to win one, and spurned a golden opportunity here two starts ago (race fell apart early). Likely to run her race without being good enough again.

Forecasts

Cillian's Well (11/8), Princess Roania (2/1), Karl Marx (8/1), Bulletproof (10/1), Triggywinkle (10/1), Kristjano (14/1), Ladies Dancing (14/1), Tamarillo Grove (16/1), Elusive Cowboy (25/1), Dragoon Guard (50/1)

Verdict

This looks a bit easier than the contest CILLIAN'S WELL took part in at Worcester, and with no lurkers in the field this time, can get back to winning ways. Elusive Cowboy may prove the main danger, as he may have more to offer now he's with a yard that are so good at turning regressive types around, and his recent run on the Flat suggested he should be up to winning something this summer. Triggywinkle may well hit the frame again. Money for Kristjano could be inspired too.
