300,000 gns purchase who has shown steady improvement during a period when the stable have been quiet. Not highly tried on handicap debut and trainer has had four winners in the past 14 days.
Stable had a double here on Saturday. May have found the soft ground against him last time and is reunited with the rider who partnered him to two successes earlier in the year.
Rattled off a hat-trick at the start of the year before the handicapper caught up with him. Had a stiff task last time behind Lugano who won his next two handicaps and in form trainer has found him a good opportunity.
Former Godolphin winner who promised more to come at Yarmouth in May before cheekpieces failed to inspire at Newbury last time. Those aids are removed and he is down further in the weights. Trainer and rider combined to win this last year.
All three wins have been gained with some give in the ground. Stable have gone off the boil recently and others are preferred.
Seven-race maiden makes debut for new yard. Likely to need this after a break but gives capable small trainer little to improve on in order to exploit this current mark.

Forecasts
Boychick (11/4), Macksville (11/4), Goldslinger (7/2), Sparte Quercus (4/1), Paddy's Rock (6/1), Avenue Des Champs (7/1), Dunquin (8/1), Steccando (10/1), Best Example (20/1)
Sparte Quercus is interesting on his handicap debut with three runs down the field to qualify for a handicap mark. With his stable hitting form he is one to note in pre-race trading. Best Example catches the eye off this mark and representing last year's winning trainer/rider combination. Dunquin will be saddled by John Mackie who had a double here last weekend. Luke Morris has partnered him to his two latest victories and is reunited for the first time since. BOYCHICK faced what was clearly an impossible task at Wolverhampton when clashing with the much improved Lugano. This looks much easier and he can get back on the winning trail.
