Still a maiden and has run poorly on his last three starts and although his handicap mark is tumbling he's a hard one to love here.
Out-and-out front runner who is a course winner over shorter trips. Not proven over this far and looked out of sorts of late and passed by in this.
A winner on his penultimate start at Nottingham he followed up with a solid effort here last time out over a couple of furlongs shorter. He should stay trips like this and looks to be a contender on his best form.
Now down in trip but still a maiden and the blinkers are retained from his first effort in them last time when he probably made his effort too soon. Mark is due to drop another 3lb soon and may be better suited by this trip.
Last two runs have come at Redcar over 1m6f with the better of them the runner-up slot he attained on the first of those two runs. Probably race a little too close to the pace last time and may be able to do better here although the wide draw won't make life easy.
Form prior to his second last time out his form had looked rather ordinary but he did take a step forward last time out at Redcar over 1m6f (Midnight Warrior behind). If he were to repeat that run then he would have a chance here and is respected.
Only modest but in the right grade here and she did win something similar at Wetherby in May over 1m2f. Only 3lb above that winning mark now and in good form last time out with a third at Thirsk and not easily ruled out of this.
Some respectable runs to her name this year without necessarily looking as though she is going to win anytime soon. Enters the equation but looks to have more chance of a place than a win.
Has won over C&D bit the losing run now stands at 20 and his recent return at Wetherby only showed him to be in decent form and not looking as though he was going to take advantage of the fall in the weights.
Dual winner last year but hasn't really shown that much this year and was well below form last time out. Best watched here as others have much stronger claims.

Forecasts
Diamond Runner (3/1), Percy Verence (10/3), Mrs Biggs (7/2), Aneedh (8/1), Cool Music (9/1), Midnight Warrior (12/1), Tin Pan Alley (12/1), Maple Stirrup (16/1), Chauvelin (20/1), Fisherman's Blues (25/1), Sehail (25/1), Sir Runs A Lot (25/1)
Just a low-grade affair but it should prove competitive with a few holding claims like Diamond Runner and Percy Verence with the former looking as though this longer trip should suit. Both Midnight Warrior and Cool Music have place chances but in the end this may be best left to MRS BIGGS. She’s run well this year and with her mark being just 3lb above her last winning one and the stiff finish looking sure to suit she is given the vote here.
- Mrs Biggs
- Percy Verence
- Diamond Runner
