Gradual steady progress in maidens and that led to him winning on handicap debut over 1m2f here. That form looks fairly useful and he looks to have more improvement in him after that win off a 3lb higher mark.

Another one who has shown useful and progressive form and got off the mark when winning a mile handicap at Wetherby on ground with plenty of give in it. Made all and forged clear there and just the type to improve on handicap debut.

Newcastle AW winner on debut over a mile, he's yet to quite match that form and he has work to do with Daira Prince as he was fourth to that one last time here. Better placed than most there though and would need a few to underperform here.

Makes her handicap debut and has shown some fair form in maidens although her last run was uninspiring upped in trip and in a first-time tongue toe. Mark looks no more than fair and would be fortunate to beat most of these.

Winner on her seasonal debut at Lingfield (7f) and wasn't disgraced in a handicap over a mile here last time out. Mark of 69 looks tough enough though in this company.

Forecasts

Daira Prince (1/1), Tamayef (3/1), Star Gypsy (10/3), Zymyran (12/1), Millie's Kiss (14/1), Voi (20/1)

Verdict

There are a couple of likely improvers in this along with a duo of solid types and it’s that quartet who are likely to form the finishing party here. Of the improvers DAIRA PRINCE should just edge out Star Gypsy with those two both looking to have improvement in them. Both Zymyran and Tamayef are in the solid camp but don’t have the progressive profile of the two at the top of the handicap.
  1. Daira Prince
  2. Star Gypsy
  3. Tamayef
