Six of his seven wins have come here including two in 24 hours in May and this race 12 months ago.. Down the field over 3m at Aintree last time but should be a different proposition now.
Has been running to a consistent standard over hurdles since his Stratford success a year ago. Only needs to run to his usual level to give a good account.
Had lost his way before joining current handler who is a master at rejuvenating this type. Successes on the Flat Ayr and a 15L romp at Hexham two weeks ago underline his current wellbeing. A 7lb penalty still leaves him below his future mark and he would be expected to take advantage in an uncompetitive event.
Has been keen and well beaten on his two latest outings. Experienced rider on board and current trainer yet to get him to the levels attained by previous handlers.
Winner of a valuable prize at Haydock in November 2014 but has drawn a blank since. Plummeting down the weights and closely matched with Gold Chain on running here in May.

VERCINGETORIX, My Mo and Gold Chain bring the most solid claims into his. The former makes plenty of appeal following his facile success at Hexham which leaves him with a few pounds in hand on his future handicap mark. My Mo is a consistent type who looks to set to benefit should Iain Jardine's charge fail to deliver. Gold Chain has won six of his twelve races here and has little to find to be in the mix again.
