Just the one win in 19 races and has failed to complete in four of his last nine. Represents a yard that had a double on this card 12 months ago but others make more appeal.
Much improved on the Flat this summer so potentially well in having dropped in the weights since his last run in this sphere. One to watch in the market for a race as poor as this.
Arrives on the back of two good efforts on the Flat but she has lacked fluency when jumping and that makes her a risk. Makes her handicap debut over hurdles and hardly looks well treated but the potential is there.
One win in 31 races and tailed off last time. Makes little appeal on that record despite respect for the trainer.
Chased home a well-handicapped improver over 2m4f in May but disappointed next time over this trip. Has rarely run two races alike so possible he might bounce back in a race lacking depth. Stable had a winner here on Wednesday.
Has looked ordinary in all spheres but he was going well over fences last time until brought to a halt by a mistake three out. Switches to the smaller obstacles and this is an uncompetitive event.
Sprang a 33/1 surprise over C&D in April and showed that to be no fluke next time. Hard to dismiss in a race as weak as this.
Ran well enough in a couple of handicap hurdles last winter to suggest he could exploit this mark. However, this trip looks short of his best and he has failed to ignite lately.
31-race maiden and 2lb out of the handicap. Finds little off the bridle and he looks too risky to propose.

This race will take little winning and Gordon Elliott, who rarely leaves here emptyhanded, may have found the right opportunity for Broughton's Star to land a second career victory. Bahrikate has the best recent hurdling form but she may be vulnerable if either Henpecked or MR GLOBETROTTER can transfer their recent Flat form. The former has not jumped well so far but any improvement in that department would make her hard to beat. MR GLOBETROTTER has shown little so far over hurdles but this represents his easiest oppotrtunity so far. Two recent victories on the Flat indicate significant improvement and he will get few easier opportunities to open his account over timber.
