Not beaten far from 1lb higher at Newcaslte (7f) in February and seems to reserve his best for that Tapeta surface. Well beaten from some way out at York when returning to turf after a break last time and although this is weaker, he has a bit to prove.
Ended a losing run of 19 races when winning a claimer at Chelmsford (6f, AW) in May. Held in a handicap at Salisbury from 1lb higher last time, but getting closer to a first handicap win on turf and acts on good ground. Each-way possibilities.
Remains a maiden after 17 starts and was well beaten from this mark at Beverley over a similar trip last time. Needs further assistance from the handicapper.
Won three times at Southwell in 2016, his last turf win being two years ago at Chester (7f, good). His best effort in three runs at this venue was then 4½L fourth to his stable companion La Celebs Ville (runs earlier on the card) last month (1m, soft) and a 2lb drop gives him hope of picking up some money.
Best at 7f-7½f and on any ground with good in the description. Remains 5lb higher than his last turf success, in 2015, due to some very competitive efforts in defeat since then. Excuses on account of the ground here over 1m last time and could be a different proposition today.
Sole success was almost a year ago at Hamilton (6f, good) in maiden company and the assessor has had a firm grip on him since. 3lb drop will help and has run well over 7f in defeat. Won't mind any rain and you wouldn't rule out an improved effort at a price here.
Won two of her first three starts last season, both over 6f and on good to firm/soft. Tried in Group Three company (beaten 8½L over 7f) on her final outing for Richard Hannon last year but has now dropped 10lb for three defeats over 6f this season with current yard. Money for her would be interesting and she too has an each-way squeak.
Won a soft ground maiden auction contest (7f) at Thirsk last year and put in her best effort since going handicapping from a mark of 69 at Chelmsford last time out (6f) in December. Returns after a break and a 2lb rise. Won't mind any rain and yard can get them straight enough to win after a break, so a market check is suggested.
Has won twice over this trip in 2017, the most recent of them being on turf at Yarmouth (good) from a 3lb lower mark. Disappointed as favourite at Leicester last time, but that could have been on account of the softer ground and can't be ruled out back on a sound surface.
Well beaten in both starts so far this season. 5lb lower than his best handicap effort at Carlisle last season, but very hard to recommend on what we have seen of late.

Forecasts
Captain Revelation (4/1), Magic Moments (4/1), Manners Please (5/1), Jay Kay (5/1), Deansgate (6/1), Rock Warbler (7/1), Passing Star (10/1), Groupie (12/1), Baltic Prince (16/1), Foresight (20/1), Redrosezorro (40/1)
With the superb record of his connections at this venue, Captain Revelation looks booked for a better effort today following a 2lb drop, but preference is for JAY KAY. Karl Burke's gelding has its optimum trip and conditions, while he won't mind any rain. A 4lb drop going into this should see him get very competitive. Baltic Prince goes well on a sound surface and is another dropping back to his optimum trip, while Foresight, Groupie and Magic Moments all have points of merit and Manners Please needs checking out in the market after a break.
