Winner of his first start for this yard and bumped into one who was a subsequent winner last time at Stratford. Likely to gain compensation here and plenty of improvement left in the tank.
Won an Irish point-to-point in March and while he was well beaten on rules debut at Newton Abbot, he showed improved form to finish third over C&D last week. Plenty more needed to figure here though.
Listed winner on the Flat and while he's yet to be seen to best effect over hurdles, it's still early days. This yard likely to get the best out of him at some point but needs to learn to settle better if he's to get his head in front here.
Smart performer on the Flat back in 2015 but had an interrupted career since. Showed nothing on debut in this sphere at Hexham last time out and has questions to answer currently.
Useful on the Flat for John Ryan and won a Yarmouth handicap off a mark of 76 in October. If he can transfer all his ability from that sphere to this he would have some sort of each-way chance in this field but finished well beaten on hurdles debut in May and others make more appeal.
Cost just €2,500 as a three-year-old and is a half-sister to point-to-point winners but only modest fourth on debut in a bumper at Newton Abbot and plenty to find in this company if she is to get off the mark at the first attempt over hurdles.
Forecasts
Gibson Park (6/5), Celestial Path (2/1), Novis Adventus (11/2), Ocean Eleven (10/1), Gertie Getaway (25/1), Breaking Ground (40/1)
GIBSON PARK will be hard to beat if he turns up in the same form that saw him win at Fontwell two starts back and finish runner-up at Stratford last time. Celestial Path and Novis Adventus were both useful on the Flat and can't be ruled out if they can transfer all that ability to this sphere.
