Good debut win at Ffos Las where the penny dropped very late and she stormed home to a record a nose victory. Third well beaten since, so form may not be strong, and penalty to carry makes life harder. Still, will improve and can't be discounted.
First foal, but plenty of Flat winners in the pedigree and this speed test should suit. Rare runner here for Irish yard but over strike rate in these events is moderate, so only of interest if strong in the market.

Runner-up in a couple of confined point-to-points but that form not strong, and breeding suggests we won't see the best of this one until going over stamina trips and seeing fences. Best watched today.
Full brother to the useful Hollow Tree (also trained by this yard) and bred to be decent, but a little disconcerting to see hood applied for debut today. Yard struggling a bit for winners too, so others preferred.
On breeding, it's very likely that staying chases will be his game in time, so may find this too sharp a test but yard do so well in these events (4-8 in these races at Stratford last five seasons) that he has to be taken as a serious player here. Good young jockey booked and a big run likely.

Plenty of speed in the bloodlines and quick ground likely to suit, so has those plus points, but yard yet to have a winner in 23 attempts in these races and on that, others look to hold stronger claims.

Forecasts

Soleglad (6/4), The Black Squirrel (3/1), Eat My Dirt (4/1), Ali The Hunter (15/2), Handy Hollow (12/1), Truckers Tangle (14/1)

Verdict

Not a bad little race to finish the card off with. Eat My Dirt has the experience and the way she flew home at Ffos Las suggests she'll have plenty more to come, but giving a penalty away in these events is never easy, and preference is for THE BLACK SQUIRREL, who could be useful in time and has the services of the rising star James Bowen to help here. Handy Hollow and All The Hunter both make some appeal on paper too.
  1. The Black Squirrel
  2. Eat My Dirt
  3. Handy Hollow
