Won over 6f at this track as a juvenile and ran well after his winter break when fourth of 14 at Epsom in April. Not quite so good at Windsor next time and now steps up in trip off a 1lb lower mark. Stamina on the dam's side offers encouragement that he will stay.
Nothing special in four runs in AW maiden company. Makes his handicap company and although he does not look especially well treated, a gelding operation may well lead to improvement. Certainly worth a check in the market.
First-time cheekpieces did the trick over C&D last month and the headgear remains on. Has been raised only 3lb for that success and seems progressive, so she has to be a leading contender.
Followed up three AW maiden runs by finishing fourth of 11 in a Haydock handicap when wearing cheekpieces for the first time. They are fitted again and she races off only a 1lb lower mark. Not of startling interest, but connections have always to be respected and it is still early days for her.
Sprang a 20-1 surprise when upped in distance at Lingfield last time. Seemed to stay well despite taking a keen hold and the extra 207yds of this race promises to suit. A 6lb rise may be more of an issue, but he has to be considered.
Still looking for her first win on turf, but shaped well over C&D last time when third of 10. Did not get the clearest of runs that day, races off the same mark and enters calculations.

Forecasts
Let's Be Happy (9/4), Fair Power (3/1), Il Sicario (3/1), Melodine (4/1), Rakematiz (9/2), Log Off (6/1), Lightly Squeeze (7/1), Born Legend (33/1)
Not one of these can be dismissed lightly.. Rakematiz and Log Off are entitled to plenty of respect after good efforts last time, Born Legend and Melodine may be capable of more than they have shown so far, and Fair Power might improve for the step up in trip. Lightly Squeeze and, in particular, Let's Be Happy, also have chances, but IL SICARIO won a claimer in good style last time, has shown this trip suits and has a workable handicap mark.
