Roy Fowler - A Lifetime In Racing Handicap

Not in the best of form of late showing pace but failing to finish her races off. Ridden along after just 2f last time out here in June. Best watched.

Scored with something in hand when bolting in at Pontefract in June and could have found the 6lb penalty a burden when beaten last time out at Ripon.

Hit form last September with a Thirsk victory when swooping late on soft ground. Probably failed to see out 7f on soft ground, before finishing 9L behind Showboating last time out in a Catterick, 7f handicap.

Prominent racer who has been running with credit on the AW since the turn of the year. Won for the first time over 5f, last time out in a Hamilton class 5 handicap on good to firm.

Well beaten and no impression on last two starts at Thirsk. Last win came at this course in April 2016 off a mark of 77. Could be dangerous from this mark.

As with all runners from this yard, caution is advised coming back from their lay-offs, though the trainer is having winners. 11 of 12 last time out at Beverley in April.

One win from 11 starts but gone close at Chester on a couple of occasions. Both of those efforts came with cut in the ground. Second of 11 last time out at Redcar in May, a race that has produced the third - 1¾L behind Boundsy - Flawlessly to win on his return to the North-East course.

Has won two of his last three A/W starts for two different trainers. First outing for current handler enjoying a good campaign saw the Medicean mare finish eigth of nine, well beaten 8½L.

Won a competitive Beverley handicap at the end of May, beating 10 rivals by 1L, before finishing second of 13, 3½L behind Oriental Splendour from a 3lb higher mark.

The four-year-old has yet to win this season, beaten on all four starts since moving from the Tim Easterby yard. Four career wins have come when rated between 63 and 68.

Last two wins have come on the AW over 6f and looks as though he remains in good form despite the fact that he's not won on turf for nearly three years now. Dwelt in stalls on last start at Carlisle in the middle of last month.

Usually runs his race and was beaten less than a length into third at Catterick in April, before another below-par performance at Wolverhampton at the end of the same month.
