Likes to set the pace with all three wins coming here one over C&D and the other two over slightly further. Won his penultimate start here off a mark of 59 (highest winning mark) and found life hard under a penalty next time out (took a strong hold and did too much). A contested pace and a mark of 65 might prove too much.
One of the seven three-year-olds in the field he's yet to win a race and has looked well below-par on his last two starts (his first two in handicaps). Has been very free in lots of his recent starts a problem solved by the addition of a hood last time although he never really threatened the leaders.
From a yard that are punching and wining way above their weight at the moment anything they run has to be taken seriously. Showed some fair form in maidens over distances up 1m2f and made her handicap debut over a mile last time and shaped well enough (mark looks a little high) although the form of that Ripon handicap has been franked by the third since.
Showed possibly her best form on turf in a Redcar 7f maiden on her penultimate start although that wasn't a strong race. Finished last on her handicap debut back on the AW last time and more needed here to make an impression.
Ended last season with a win in a Leicester nursery over a mile and ran his best race of the year last time over a mile at Wetherby. Gone up 4lb for that defeat though and that may just make life tougher for him here.
17 runs have yet to yield at a win and although the mark is dropping (17lb below his initial mark) he's not really showing enough to enter the equation here.
Makes her handicap debut here after just three maiden runs all over shorter than she faces today. Just plugged on at Beverley last time and low-grade handicaps will be much more her thing in the future.

Forecasts
Snookered (11/4), Fortuities (7/2), Amy Blair (4/1), Cliff Bay (9/2), Geordie George (11/2), Haymarket (7/1), Fleetfoot Jack (10/1), Catastrophe (12/1), Royal Icon (12/1), Royal Holiday (14/1), Princess Nearco (20/1), New Decade (20/1), Akkadian Empire (25/1)
A competitive heat to close the card with several looking to have a chance in a race that should be run at a good gallop thanks to a couple at least that like to go forward. Cliff Bay did well to win here last time out and a 5lb rise should not stop him getting involved. Snookered is another who is expected to run a sound race while Fleetfoot Jack should be capable of much better given his mark and connections. With the way the Jedd O’Keeffe are running it would be foolish to leave Fortuities out of the equation but overall GEORDIE GEORGE who will be suited by the ground looks to be the one to side with.
- Geordie George
- Cliff Bay
- Fleetfoot Jack
