In good form last year in the months of August and September when he took advantage of a mark of 70 to win at Beverley over 5f gaining a well deserved victory for that period. Looks to be working his way back in the right direction and is very near his winning mark again.
A C&D winner off a 3lb higher mark last year that victory ended a long losing spell although he looks to be building another one now. Continues to fall in the weights but didn't really look as though he was going to take advantage when last seen on the AW.
Likes to go from the front and has won C&D on a few occasions the last being in June under today's pilot off a mark of 64. Has done too much too soon on his last couple of runs and just needs to harness his energy better although he's not won off a mark this high for a while.
Not in the same form as he was last year when he won three times over sprint trips the last of those on the AW. Has run mostly on the AW this year and didn't really threaten on his return on the turf last time out and may be capable of more but probably best watched.
Quirky sort who is capable of winning but a hard one to trust overall and despite a career record of 8/80 his losing run is getting longer and longer now. Not usually at his best on soft ground and operating well below his best at the moment.
Just one of a trio of three-year-olds in this handicap and the second runner in this for her stable although she remains a maiden having had 10 chances so far. Her best run probably came last time out (dropped in grade) and shaping a bit better than the result. She steps back up in grade here and her overall profile isn't the most appealing.
Cheekpieces go on for the first-time as he hits a career-low mark having been tried over 6f last time. Hasn't shown much spark though this year and may well be best watched here.
Mark is falling in handicaps and he remains a maiden although he did show a little more on his penultimate run when third in a Ripon 6f handicap off 59 (first-time cheekpieces). Failed to back that up last time and now tried in blinkers for the first time although his overall profile isn't a solid one.

Vintage Dream (7/2), Primanora (4/1), Hamidans Girl (9/2), Compton River (9/2), Astrophysics (5/1), Bunce (6/1), Angel Palanas (7/1), Salvatore Fury (9/1), Imperial Legend (9/1), Bronze Beau (14/1)
Quite a few in this that can be given a chance on their best form with ASTROPHYSICS looking to be the main one capable of improving to win this. Both Bronze Beau and Compton River will have their supporters with Primanora one who could improve on her second run in a handicap.
