Rated 77 when last tackling handicap company on the Flat in August last year and finished third on each of his two hurdles starts for this stable, before winning a three runner race at Market Rasen at the beginning of last month in a novice hurdle.

6/4
Put in a couple of solid performances in late 2016 most notably when beaten 9¾L over an extended 1m7f at Ascot on good-to-soft. Well held at Warwick and Fontwell, before an impressive win last time out here, early last month.

Well beaten, no impression when returning to jumps racing at Sratford last time out. Beaten a total of 138L on last two National Hunt starts, best watched.

1m2f winner on the Flat in Germany for P. Schiergen and switched to these connections for 25,000 gns in October 2016. Beaten 11L by Talkischeap on hurdles debut at Fontwell in May, before another well beaten second of eight last time out. Cheek-pieces fitted for first time here.

Some promise in a bumper at Southwell in January but his jumping is questionable to say the least. Best watched.

€35,000 buy whose dam was nothing special but is a half-sister to two bumper winners. Good third on debut at Kempton but a big disappointment on latest start when made favourite, weakening out of things very quickly, before getting off the mark in a Southwell bumper. First time hood fitted today for hurdling debut.

Expensively purchased (€150,000) son of Martaline. Looks a 'work-in-progress' and this trip still looks too short. Stable three from 25 in the last 14 days.

33/1
Consistent sort in Irish Point-to-Points, and a winner over 3m at Aghabullogue (soft) in January. Ran well enough in a hood for her rules and stable debut in a Hexham bumper behind a subsequent winner in May, before well beaten, no impression, 44L behind River Icon in a Cartmel maiden hurdle last time out.
Pulled up when making her racecourse debut in a maiden hurdle over an extended 2m at Bangor on good ground, before tailed off last time out in a Worcester novice hurdle last month.

Forecasts

Burst Ya Bubble (6/4), Whoshotwho (15/8), Lovato (10/3), Rasasee (12/1), Parwich Lees (25/1), Not At All (25/1), Bridane Rebel (33/1), Pink Champers (50/1), First Summer (100/1)

Verdict

The pace should come from either of Burst Ya Bubble, Parwich Lees or WHOSHOTWHO, who was off the mark in a Southwell bumper 39 days ago and has first time hood fitted today for hurdling debut. In a race where you can put a line through most of the field, Loveato and Burst Ya Bubble can pick up place money.
  1. Whoshotwho
  2. Lovato
  3. Burst Ya Bubble
