Very consistent type but possible he's a touch better over a little further than this and he would need a career best to take what looks like a strong renewal of this contest.

Couldn't have won his maiden any easier on firm ground here last year and entitled to need his first run in over a year here last time. Yard in excellent form and this should give us more of an idea of where he's at. Soft ground may not be in his favour though.

Good runner-up at York last time, benefiting from being held up off a strong pace and still looks well-handicapped off just 1lb higher. Leading claims with cut in the ground sure to suit.

Just went down by a neck to a progressive sort at Chelmsford last time but the concern would be he looks a little more effective on the AW. Cut in the ground not certain to be in his favour but this in form jockey has an excellent strike-rate when riding for this yard (22%, 11-50).

C&D winner two starts back before not looking quite as effective on the AW last time. This is a deeper contest than his most recent win and probably needs a career best off a 5lb higher mark but first-time cheekpieces could eek out a little improvement.

Won his first two starts as a juvenile before he was narrowly denied in a Listed contest at Ascot. Returned in good form this summer and only just touched off last time so leading claims for a yard in form.
