Slightly disappointing on seasonal return last time but managed to beat subsequent Group 1 third Ulysses last August and has to be feared on that form having previously won at this level.

Came up short in two Listed contests the last twice but has shown plenty of potential in the past and should be capable of more, especially in this weaker looking race.

Hasn't looked up until this level on her previous attempts, and needs to find more now trying a synthetic surface for the first time.

Has been outclassed at this level up until now, and though some of those were better-looking races than this she is liable to find this too much of an ask once again.

Has seemed at her best over this trip having looked to struggle with further on her last two starts. This test should suit, especially given she has run well at this track in the past.

Decent handicapper but surely not up to performing at this level unless this step up in trip proves to be much more beneficial to her than seems likely.

Went close in a Listed race on the all-weather at Kempton in April, and though she has finished behind Chain Of Daisies in the past she looks to have potential to do better now.

Forecasts

Chain Of Daisies (5/4), Entsar (3/1), Materialistic (11/2), Desert Haze (6/1), Very Dashing (15/2), More Mischief (10/1), Epsom Icon (25/1), Tegara (33/1)

Verdict

By far the best form among these is held by CHAIN OF DAISIES . Henry Candy's mare beat Ulysses, a subsequent Group-company winner and Prince Of Wales Stakes third, at Windsor last August. Though she was disappointing on her return at Sandown in May she has taken a while to come to hand in both of her previous seasons and much more can be expected now. Very Dashing, who previously went well in an all-weather Listed race at Kempton, and the clearly talented Entsar, are others to consider.
  1. Chain Of Daisies
  2. Very Dashing
  3. Entsar
