Winner as two-year-old on his second start at Thirsk over 7f on heavy going so he won't mind any rain that is in the area. Came back with a poor run this year at Haydock finishing last and now steps up in trip to find some improvement.
Ran a race full of promise last time on his return to action having scored twice last year at Haydock both times over 7f with the wins coming on extremes of ground. Stepped up to 1m4f on his reappearance run after a long break and shaped well (not settle fully) and looks more than capable of defying this mark.
Maiden winner on his second start last year over an extended 7f he's looked as though he could win again after three solid starts this year without showing the obvious promise of others in this field. Comes back in trip here to 1m2f and should run a sound race for a yard that are in good form.
Winner on his only start so far at Leicester he step up in trip here on his handicap debut off a mark that looks fair. That form hasn't been franked so far and he did look "ready" for his debut but his pedigree looks smart and he's open to improvement.
Another one who likes to go from the front and although still a maiden he ran a fair race last time out at Windsor when taking the runner-up slot. Was seen to best advantage there due to the track position that he adopted and may well face a tougher test here with a contested pace likely.
Formerly trained in Ireland he won on debut for his current yard over a mile on the AW before running in handicaps. Looked a rather awkward ride last time at Carlisle (slow away) when finishing third and a slow start here would not help his chance.
Should benefit from a return to this trip but has only ever one a claimer and even a repeat of his last run at Chepstow would not be good enough here. Down in trip and under positive tactics he went well in a classified stakes but all his efforts in handicaps have seen him beaten off marks similar to this one.

Forecasts
Londinium (11/8), Contango (7/2), Hernandes (9/2), Je Suis Charlie (13/2), Jamacho (7/1), Critical Thinking (12/1), Musikel (14/1), Rock N Rolla (25/1)
This closing three-year-old handicap contains some likeable types and should be run at a decent clip with both Jamacho and Je Suis Charlie having shown a propensity to front run in the their past outings although they may struggle to contain the likes of LONDINIUM and Contango. The former made a very taking comeback from an 11-month absence at Ripon recently and should be able to come on again for that run. Musikel has looked a little awkward in the past and he needs to start better here but may well be able to tale a minor placing.
- Londinium
- Contango
- Musikel
