Just the three starts, winning two of them last year including when last spotted out at Gowran Park over this trip in September. Has to prove fitness but could have a bright summer ahead and open to plenty improvement representing top yard.

Debut winner at Leopardstown (good) over 1m2f last July and contesting Group races in the main afterwards, solid effort over 1m2f at Down Royal five days ago and entitled to run well here.

Two wins from first seven turf starts but form rather nosedived at the end of last year, similar struggles in two runs last month over 7f/1m at Naas. First time running beyond a mile now.

Not won since 2014 and made a below-par return to Flat racing at Gowran Park this month over 1m1½f when beaten almost 20L. Big ask in this, despite small field.

Invincible Spirit colt and full brother to Listed winner Ektihaam, he was weak in the market on debut at Leopardstown (1m, good) in May and ran accordingly. Went off 8/1 at Gowran Park this month on second start (1m1½f, good), but won with plenty up his sleeve under this rider. Should be more to come on that evidence.

Forecasts

Onlyhuman (2/1), Cirin Toinne (5/2), Massayan (5/2), Markhan (6/1), Inis Meain (20/1)

Verdict

Massayan was going the right way last backend for the Rosewell House team and he has something in hand on these rivals on ratings. He looks hard to beat but does have a long absence to defy and is conceding weight all round. Given his likely starting price, it might be worth looking somewhere else for value in case he needs the run. ONLYHUMAN won a maiden at Gowran Park on second start in taking fashion and the 8lb he receives from the Weld runner here could be a big help should he progress once more. Of the remaining trio, Cirin Toinne makes most appeal.
  1. Onlyhuman
  2. Massayan
  3. Cirin Toinne
