Broke his maiden at the fifth time of asking over 6f at Windsor last time out. Races off a 6lb higher mark here and unproven in the conditions so may find life somewhat tougher this time around upped in class.

Just one win from 14 starts so far but plenty of seconds to his name in that time including his latest effort at Windsor. Up 3lb in the weights for that effort won't help but it was a useful performance and he has each-way claims once again with the Champion Jockey booked.

Won his maiden in soft ground at Newbury last month and ran well here on debut so proven at the track. No doubt he's better than his run last time when well beaten on the AW at Kempton and return to turf with cut in the ground should see him in a better light.

Placed on each of his first six starts and then had no luck at Yarmouth on first start this year when hampered and struck twice by a rival's whip. Didn't back that up last time though in softer ground and chance he wants a sounder surface to be seen at his best. Wears a first-time visor.

Ran to a fair level on each of his three start as a two-year-old but entitled to need this run after a significant absence and yard have gone a little quiet in recent weeks.

Winner on debut but not managed to place in eight starts since. Some relief from the handicapper at last but still looks up against it here.
