Beat the very useful Barney Dwan on his only point-to-point start (back in 2015) and although not seen out for two years after that, made light work of the opposition at Southwell earlier in the month. Will handle any rain and looks the one to beat here, with more improvement likely.
Showed some ability in novice hurdles but form since going handicapping not so good, and he was well beaten at Newton Abbot last time out. Plenty to prove stepping back into novice company and likely to find some of these a bit hot to handle.
Nicely bred but showed next to nothing on debut at Bangor and can't be entertained on that showing.
Pulled up in point-to-points more often than not and last in a slow-run race at Stratford on hurdles debut. Makes no appeal here.
Rattled off a hat-trick of wins in novice handicap chases last season and looked progressive, but broke a blood vessel at Aintree on final start in October and not seen since. This looks a warm up for going back over fences later in the season, and others are preferred.
