C&D winner whose latest win came at Lingfield on good ground and followed that up with a creditable second last timeout at Brighton. Still has a lower turf mark but can travel strongly and might be an ideal type for a race like this.
The losing run now stands at 32 and although he finished a decent second last time out (tongue-tie on for first time) at Beverley it will take a strong will to support him here given that record.
Had plenty of racing this year bit has already won on three occasions with the latest one coming at Lingfield recently and he runs under a 7lb penalty here. No doubt he's in form but may just need to find a little more here under that penalty impost.
Out-and-out pace setter who loves to go from the front but did too much too soon last time and finished well beaten. Had won off a 4lb lower mark the time before over 5f and could well bounce back here if given an easy time in front.
With the leading lady amateur rider booked clearly of interest here although his run of good form came to an end last time out. Should be capable of bouncing back off this mark though and not easily passed over here despite that disappointment last time out.
Comes right back down in trip in a bid to end a worryingly long losing run and should really find these too speedy for him here having a 0/3 record at this trip.
Not one to rely on and although he has won here three times all those wins have been over 6f and he looks to be in poor form at the moment and others are preferred.

It often pays to play follow the rider in these amateur events and with the excellent Serena Brotherton taking the ride on Classic Pursuit is very much respected here. Swendab comes into this in good form and although a 7lb penalty makes life harder he should still take a hand as will Bronze Beau if he is allowed a soft lead. Vimy Ridge has that long losing run to overcome and its ZIPEDEEDODAH who might find this race run to suit and make the most of this opportunity.
