Landed one win on the AW at Lingfield when trained by Richard Hannon and has been soundly beaten at long odds in two outings to date over hurdles. Plenty of scope for improvement over timber.
Favourite for his first three races on the level, landing the odds on his third start at Gowran Park in May 2016. Well beaten in the Britannia Stakes at Royal Ascot next time, he has shaped like a surefire future winner over hurdles after two solid seconds and he will be a popular choice to go one better.
Was a useful performer on the Flat when trained by Andrew Balding, winning four races between 1m4f and 1m6f. Made a debut over timber at Cork in April and showed a degree of promise. Capable of a big run here.
A winner once on the level, scoring over 7f when trained by Dermot Weld. Never a threat on hurdling debut but stepped up on that initial effort last time at Tramore. Will certainly improve further.
Placed three times so far under NH rules, showing that he has the ability to pick up a race over timber. However, has yet to start a race at odds of less than 10/1 and is probably best watched here.
Represents powerful connections and he showed good potential in a 24-runner maiden hurdle at Punchestown in April when chasing home easy winner Lac Kivu. One for serious consideration here and has a major chance.
Sent off at huge odds in three outings to date showing a modicum of ability. Will need a big improvement to land the spoils this evening.
Ran a promising race on his debut in a Punchestown Bumper but has failed to really step up on that effort, beaten 16L in a 2m hurdle at Tipperary last time. Possibly best watched for the time being.
He has yet to reach a place in nine career starts, soundly beaten so far at long odds in two starts over hurdles. Faces a stiff test here and is hard to fancy.
Narrowly beaten in a 1m maiden at The Curragh back in August 2015 but has failed to step up on that run and has lacked fluency at times in three starts over timber. Best watched.
Well supported in all of her races in Point-to-points, winning once over 3m in December of last year. A faller when in touch on her chase debut, she was never as threat back over hurdles last time and needs a better run to win here.
sent off at odds of 100/1 or more in seven of her 12 starts to date, but she has shown glimpses of ability. Attracted support at Wexford last time and clearly has the ability to win races.
Shaped with some promise in Bumper company but has failed to really shine so far over hurdles, tailed off when pulled up at Wexford. Hard to make out a case for her here.
Last of 12 on her debut in a Bumper and has failed to finish in three races over hurdles, falling early twice. Would struggle here.

Monarch was fairly useful on the level and was sent to Royal Ascot in 2016 after landing a race at Gowran Park. Has shown a great deal of promise over hurdles so far and will be there or thereabouts at the finish. CINEMA DE QUARTIER is the mount of Bryan Cooper and shaped like a future winner over timber when chasing home a smart type in a big-field race at Punchestown. Capable of going one better here. The Moore Factor looks a progressive type over hurdles and is the clear pick of the remainder.
