Bumper winner ran his best race over hurdles when chasing home Potters Point over 2m at Galway back in October and has made good progress over fences, culminating in an authoritative win over this course and distance last time. Go close with a repeat performance.
Experienced performer with winning form over hurdles and fences. An effortless winner of a 2m chase at Down Royal in January, he fell next time and has failed to really shine in three outings since, beaten out of sight over the smaller obstacles last time.
All of his best form has been over fences, the last of his four wins over the larger obstacles coming over an extended 2m2f at Downpatrick last August. Davy Russell has been booked to ride this gelding tonight and a big run is expected.
Won his maiden hurdle back in September 2013 but has done most of his racing over fences, securing a couple of victories, the most recent a hard-fought success over 2m4f at Clonmel in October. Has been off the track since November but could go well here fresh.
Winner of a Point and a Bumper, she has shown some promise previously over fences but arrives in great heart having won her last two races over hurdles, both times beating Miss Sapphire who runs in the second race. Must be respected back over fences and is a major player.
Nothing special as a maiden over hurdles but has done a lot better over fences, landing a couple of wins just over a year ago. Never on terms when soundly beaten last time, he needs a return to his best this evening.
A winner over hurdles, she was far from fluent when opening her account over fences at Tramore (2m5f) in December and has found it tough going since, in mid division when falling three out last time. Will win more races in time, could surprise.
Won eight times on the AW earlier in his career and this winning pointer also picked up three wins over hurdles. A sole win over fences came three years ago but he is seldom beaten that far and could well run into a place.
Has winning form in NH Flat races and over timber but has yet to be placed in three outings over the larger obstacles. Ran well in a couple of races over hurdles at Sligo 12 months ago but others appear to have stronger claims.
Picked up a couple of wins over hurdles but in three chase starts to date he has yet to finish within 55L of the winner and has started at long odds each time. An outsider again here, others may have his measure.
She remains a maiden over hurdles and fences and appears to have a lot on her plate this evening. Beaten 15L at Sligo when last seen in September over a shorter trip, she will certainly come on for this return run.
Three times a winner between the flags, he opened his chasing account when winning a hunter chase at Downpatrick in May 2016 and although he has failed to score since, he has run some fair races in defeat. Capable of adding to his tally in 2017.

Black Zambezi won in fine style here last time and a repeat of that performance here should take him close. Davy Russell has been booked to ride Miteball Forluck and as all of his best form has been over fences, he could run a big race. Dont Kick Nor Bite has been in great form over hurdles recently and will not lack support reverting to chasing, while Tisamystery will certainly strip fresh and could run well on his return from a break. The veteran OLD SUPPORTER has done well over fences and following back-to-back Point-to-point wins, he was a winner again over regulation fences last time and can strike while the iron is still hot.
- Old Supporter
- Tisamystery
- Black Zambezi
