Winner of his last two starts over hurdles including over 2m4f at Aintree (good) last time out. Has been raised 2lb for that victory and is an interesting runner in this.
Finished a close third behind Mr McGuiness at Worcester (good) over this trip earlier this month. Races off a mark 8lb higher than when winning over C&D last September and likely to run well once more.
Ludlow handicap hurdle winner on good ground over 3m in April and ran well to finish runner-up over 3m1f at Warwick (good) subsequently. Races off a 3lb higher mark and drops in trip here.
Followed up an odds-on selling hurdle success at Hexham (good) by finishing second to Mr McGuiness over C&D earlier this month. Races off a 3lb higher mark here.
Not beaten far when last of four at Ludlow (good) over 2m last month and unseated rider mid-race at Newton Abbot subsequently. Worth a check in the market here.
Had just three runs since winning off a 3lb lower mark over 2m4f at Aintree (good-to-firm) 13 months ago. Finished fourth to Jacks Last Hope at that track last time and worth a check in the market here.
Successful at Hexham (good) over 2m4f last weekend. Has been raised 9lb for that easy 7L victory and interesting to see how he fares off this revised mark.
Finished fourth the last twice including at Market Rasen over an extended 2m4f on good ground a month ago. Now rated 2lb lower than when last successful over hurdles.
Victorious over C&D on good ground earlier this month. Had a couple of today's rivals behind him on that occasion and interesting off a light weight despite a 4lb rise for that success.
Forecasts
Wishfull Dreaming (7/2), Surf And Turf (9/2), Mr Mcguiness (13/2), Slim Pickens (7/1), After Eight Sivola (8/1), Rene's Girl (8/1), Miss Crick (9/1), Jacks Last Hope (10/1), Nathans Pride (12/1)
RENE'S GIRL has been running over further of late winning a 3m handicap hurdle on her penultimate outing. Dan Skelton's charge has run well over shorter in the past and is taken to register her fourth career success today. Of the selections rivals here Miss Crick has be running well without winning recently and can claim second ahead of the horse who finished in front of her last time Mr McGuiness.
- Rene's Girl
- Miss Crick
- Mr Mcguiness
