Won a weaker race here by 6L over 1m2f (good to firm) in May and was found out when upped in grade over this trip at Bath last time. This race lays somewhere between the two in terms of quality and he cannot be taken on too lightly, though will need improvement to get back on track.
Won a 7f Chepstow maiden (good to firm) by a resounding 9L last August but she put in a really good reappearance effort at Doncaster earlier in the month when a ½L runner-up from a mark of 83. 1lb higher today and well worth stepping back up in trip. Likely to go close.
Won a 7½f handicap in Germany (good to soft) last season and has been kept to races on good or slower ground both there and since joining current yard. Quicker conditions therefore a concern, but if the rains come then he looks on the sort of mark from which he could be very competitive.
Won over the stiff 1m of Pontefract (good) last month from 4lb lower than here and was not disgraced when stepped up in class at Doncaster last time. However, the balance of his form suggests that he might be weighted beyond the ceiling of his abilities at present.
Six of his 10 career wins have come over C&D and while they were all on good ground or slower, he does also act on fast ground. More of an issue could be a 4lb rise for another great effort in defeat here last time, meaning that he also looks to have a tough enough task at the weights again here.
Has won three times on good or good to firm ground and over 7½f-1m, which is positive, as is his current form. Runner-up from this mark at Doncaster (1m, good to firm) last time and every chance that he can have a say from his inside draw.
Yet to win on turf and has been racing over 1m2f and 1m3½f on her last two outings, neither of which she seemed to see out. This drop in trip should help, as should a 4lb drop and support for her would be very interesting.

Chosen Character clearly loves his visits here and another bold show looks on the cards, but he is weighted up to the hilt after just going down here last time and SOVEREIGN BOUNTY is preferred. Jedd O'Keeffe's gelding has both trip and forecast conditions at his optimum and he should be able to get the job done from a good draw. Royal Shaheen would make significant appeal if the rains come, while neither Captain Courageous not Sante can be ruled out.
