Looked very one paced when soon left behind at Yarmouth on handicap bow 16 days ago, but that was his first race for six months and he may strip fitter here. Yard has 23% strike rate so not ruled out despite headng the weights.
In fine form this season with three wins already to his name. Raised a total of 15lb for his troubles but may still be a player having struggled on soft ground last time out.
Disapointed on both starts for John Hammond in France, but ran satisfactorily on debut for current yard last month before biting off more than he could chew in hot York handicap a few weeks later. This is easier, and any market inteerst would be worth noting.
Just one win from 31 starts, and that came on the Southwell Fibresand. Not beaten far at Hamilton in May and has a squeak, but on balance needs to raise his game to score here. First-time blinkers may help.
Yard enjoying a fine season. Won at Ayr last month and only 3lb higher today so has to enter claculations now reunited with winning jockey. Should be on the premises.

Forecasts
Cosmic Ray (13/8), Singapore Sling (9/4), Midlight (4/1), Billy Bond (11/2), Deansgate (7/1), Almunther (14/1), Our Boy Jack (14/1)
Question marks hang over most of these so a chance is taken on an improved show from ALMUNTHER who ran in a much better event than this at York recently on his handicap bow and is still relativley unexposed. Southern raider Singapore Sling may be better than he showed last time and connections have a good strike rate at this track, while Midlight has an obvious chance if returning to the form that saw him score in Scotland last month. Although he's shot up the weights, Cosmic Ray is progressive and is another to consider in a tricky finale.
