Never gone beyond 10 furlongs, and despite having leading lady amateur rider on board looks to have his work cut out tackling this new trip.
Stayed on stongly to win over 10f last time and incurs a 6lb penalty for her troubles. Expected to see out the extra two furlongs if ridden with patience.
Rider has 20% strike rate in these events so has to be respected. Failed to see out the trip on only previous try at this distance on the Flat, but ran well enough last time when third at Brighton to suggest he should be thereabouts.
Won 12f A/W maiden in December 2015 for previous yard, and scored over hurdles at Downpatrick last month. Top Irish trainer having only second runner at this track and it looks like connections mean business with crack lady amateur in the plate.
Won four of her five starts last year after joining current yard, including decent handicap hurdle at Galway. Probably neeeded the run when unplaced on recent seasonal return but should be on song here and rates a major contender.
Scored nicely at Wetherby in May but a little below-par since then off a higher mark. Not completely ruled out, but more needed if he's to figure.
Only wins have come at Catterick. Disappointing on last two outings and needs to raise her game to get involved. Rider yet to partner a winner in 20 attempts.
Two wins back in 2014 campaign but precious little to write home about since and has shown next to nothing for current yard. Very hard to recommend.
Stays well but hasn't been in great form in recent starts. Appears better on artifical surfaces thatn turf these days and other make much more appeal.
Regressive handicapper who has struggled for form of late. Finished seventh when favourite for this race back in 2014 and it appears his best days are behind him.
Two of her three career wins have come for lady riders, including at this track in August of last year. Not ruled out if return to happy hunting ground sparks a revival, but needs to be at her very best.
10-race maiden who has shown very little ability and appears to be just making up the numbers here unless finding considerable improvement. Very hard to recommend.

PRESENTING JULIO looks to have been laid out for this race. Sent over from Ireland by leading trainer Gordon Elliott, and with a top pilot booked, he looks sure to go well and might take some stopping. Rubis is less exposed than most of her rivals and is open to improvement so could give the selection a race, and Our Kylie - who had a great time last year - may be approaching her peak after a recent pipe-opener. Rainbow Lad, Strictly Art and old Ted's Brother are others to include in calculations.
