Collingham Park14
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-9| J: J Garritty| T: Jedd O'Keeffe| CD
11/10
Built on a couple of solid efforts when scoring easily over C&D two weeks ago. Despite conceding 7lb and more all round should again go well and sets a fair standard.

Puchase price improved fivefold to £16,000 earlier this year so might well look the part despite an unimpressive pedigree. Yard's juveniles normally given plenty of time though so will be surprising if he's ready to score on debut.

Gelded son of Assertive makes racecourse bow here. Dam's side suggests he may do better when facing more of a stamina test so might be one for later this term.

Shown very little in three starts to date and was gelded after first outing. Hard to enthuse over on racecourse evidence thus far.

Moakkad23
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-2| J: J Fanning| T: C & M Johnston
5/2
130,000 guineas son of successful juvenile sire Helmet, but was unfancied on debut at Leicester three weeks ago. Represents top connections and willl likely be better for that experience so one to consider, especially if any market confidence noted.

Mr Wagyu17
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-2| J: Jason Hart| T: J & S Quinn
7/1
Showed good speed at Thirsk last time when improving on debut run to finish second in similar contest. Likely to be on the premises again with yard in fair form.

No better than eighth in four starts so far and looks of limited ability at this stage of his career. Wears first time cheekpieces but may do better once tackling nurseries later this campaign.

Lilbourne Lad colt whose dam won over five furlongs, so may possess some speed. Faced with a challenge on this racecourse bow and may be better for the run.

Dyson's Girl23
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-11| J: Connor Beasley| T: B Smart
5/1
£22,000 Equiano filly whose dam is from the family of Ayr Gold Cup winner Final Shot. Ran a fair race when fourth at Redcar last time and should again be more or less on the premises.

Sorority23
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-11| J: A Mullen| T: C & M Johnston| BF
20/1
Nicely bred daughter of Exceed and Excel out of a listed place mare. Didn't show a great deal on debut at Lingfield last month wher she ran green so could be open to some improvement.

Forecasts

Collingham Park (11/10), Moakkad (5/2), Dyson's Girl (5/1), Mr Wagyu (7/1), Sorority (20/1), Shades Of Mist (28/1), Rock On Bertie (50/1), Bigdabog (50/1), David Fallow (66/1), Heavenly Pulse (100/1)

Verdict

COLLINGHAM PARK won nicely over C&D last time out and a repeat of that effort might well prove good enough despite having to give away weight all round. Moakkad is bred to be decent and was all at sea on debut, so may do rather better this time and looks the preferred of the yard's two representatives, the other being the filly Sorority. Mr Wagyu might prove a danger if building on his solid run at Thirsk last time, and Dyson's Girl is another who may well get in the mix.
  1. Collingham Park
  2. Moakkad
  3. Mr Wagyu
