Showed a game attitude when winning a four-runner race over C&D last month. Has won off higher chase marks and consistency in his favour. Ought to go well again.
Well beaten on all recent starts and not won since recording a double back in 2014. Shown nothing on three starts for this yard and he's in desperate need of a return to form.
Won last time out, coming off a strong-pace and staying on well at Stratford. Has one in him off this kind of mark but seemed to enjoy the stamina test last time and not certain to enjoy this step back in trip.
In the form of his life recently and still looks like there could be more to come for this yard. Won well in a 15-runner Worcester handicap last time out and ought to give it another good go from the front once again.
Scored on his return to hurdles around this time last year but not been in the same form since and fell here last time. Looks vulnerable to improving types.
Fallen to a lenient looking mark but he was a disappointing favourite on his return to action here earlier in the month and most of his wins have come in the mud. Needs the rain to arrive to be of any interest.
Has always looked a better chaser than hurdler but he's on a reasonable mark returned to this sphere. Not been seen under rules for over a year and not been at his best in point-to-points recently so may struggle in a competitive race such as this.
Forecasts
Gingili (7/4), Awaywiththegreys (3/1), Heist (4/1), Mighty Leader (5/1), Benenden (8/1), Man With Van (20/1), King Massini (25/1)
GINGILI has been in excellent form of late and he's due to go up another 2lb in future races; it would be no surprise to see him go well in a less competitive affair than the race he won at Worcester last time out. Heist won over C&D last time but can't be ruled out in a follow-up bid while Awaywiththegreys couldn't be ruled out if the rain arrives.
