Notched a couple of quick-fire 3m2f chase victories at Newton Abbot in recent weeks, but hit with an 11lb rise for the latest of those successes. Life now much tougher for this in-form gelding who had finished third over this C&D prior to that winning run commencing.
Seemingly versatile in terms of ground (has won on good to firm), but his most recent successes have been with some cut. Got the year off to a good start in January with a victory at Ludlow (3m soft) and tried hard to reel in Silver Man in a veterans chase at Cartmel (3m5f) late last month.
Can race rather lazily during his races but has now won his last two starts over fences, with his April success at Huntingdon (2m7f+) reading well. Doing his best work late in the race at Warwick last month, so every likelihood that this step up in trip will suit.
A six time winner over fences during his career, but not since October 2015 and seemingly in rapid decline. Once rated as high as 145, is now down to a mark of 111, and he folded tamely after leading at Market Rasen last month.
Prolific winner of Point-to-Points and switched to rules racing late in his career, but has won three times at this track for this trainer, including over this trip earlier in the month. Now 4lb higher for a ¾L defeat of Dursey Sound, and conditions likely to be a shade quicker today, but impossible to ignore him at this track.
Won a couple of races at Carlisle in the early months of 2016, but has struggled somewhat since. His best recent run came at that Cumbrian track in April (over this trip) when making good late headway to finish a narrow third to Smugglers Stash. Less convincing since and beaten by Schindler's Prince latest, but on a reasonable mark (103).

The veteran Schindler's Prince has become a standing dish at this track over the past twelve months, and he's certain to be thereabouts despite a 4lb rise for a narrow C&D success earlier in the month, but drying ground is a slight concern. However, BRONCO BILLY looks certain to appreciate this extra yardage given his rather lazy style of racing, and he's tough to knock as he seeks a treble so he gets the nod.
