Turf form is rather thin on the ground and she doesn't look as good on this surface as she did on the AW earlier in the year. Runs off a lower turf mark but the surface does leave a question mark over her chance here.
Faces a couple of unexposed younger horses here and that might give her a problem especially as this trip can stretch her. Solid enough sort but you do have to wonder if she has any scope off this mark.
Showed some progressive form last year as a two-year-old and continued her upward curve when winning at Musselburgh on her return over 1m1f. Showed further improvement last time out at the same track over 1m4f and still looks capable of progressing again.
A debut winner last year she needed to bounce back from a poor run on her final and only other juvenile start this year although the ground (soft) probably hindered her chance there. Shaped better on her reappearance (cheekpieces on; left off here) on the AW in a decent handicap and looks as though she can improve again here on her second start of the year.
Into the winners circle when making a winning return this year over 1m2f at Brighton and followed that up with good run over the same C&D. Below form last time out and can be slowly away and looks likely to come up short here.
Nursery winner last year at Nottingham and Chelmsford and hasn't really shown anything this year and looked well below form last time out. 2lb out of the handicap here and has a tough task with the majority of this field.
Forecasts
Euro Nightmare (6/4), Dowayla (5/2), Pernickety (5/1), Prying Pandora (7/1), Katebird (12/1), Coillte Cailin (18/1)
The effort that Dowayla put on the AW last time out was a promising one but the feeling is that EURO NIGHTMARE might just have a little more to offer here coming back to a trip that she has won over before. Prying Pandora is the solid one amongst the older brigade but she does looks a little vulnerable to anything progressive with Pernickety attempting to get herself back on track after disappointing last time out.
- Euro Nightmare
- Dowayla
- Prying Pandora
