£42,000 daughter of Red Jazz whose dam was a winner at 7f and has produced a winning miler. Stable yet to fire this season. Stable had second and fourth in this last year.
Half-sister to a couple of winners finished down the field on debut when sent off at 66/1. Yard 0-31 with juveniles over the past five seasons.
Champs Elysees filly cost 3,000 gns as a yearling and is out of a dam who is a sister to a 6f Group Two winner (Mister Cosmi) and a Listed winner over 6f (Auditorium). Yard 1-68 with juveniles over the past five seasons.
Sister to an AW winning sprinter out of a dam who was effective from 5f-7f and won on Fibresand. Stable have been quiet lately.
Cost £40,000 from the first crop of Lethal Force out of a dam who was placed in Listed company and was effective from 6f-1m. Yard had first and third in this 12 months ago.
40,000 gns daughter of Poet's Voice out of a dam who was a good juvenile and placed in Listed company. Yard's youngsters in form and had the winner and third in this last year.
120,000 gns purchase and closely related to a 5f winning juvenile. Dam is a sprint winner and related to some quick horses including Humidor. Stable in good shape and their juveniles are playing their part.
Cost £17,000 from the first crop of Society Rock and half-sister to four winners from 5f-1m. Yard without a success in this age group since last August.
€23,000 buy at the Goresbridge breeze-ups last month. Related to a couple of 6f winners but yard's horses tend to require time.
Looked green on debut and next run came just a week later. May prove better than that and her experience could be a factor.
Bought for £10,000 and half-sister to three winners including two in Italy. One of two in the race for a yard who have gone 10 months without a juvenile winner.
Forecasts
Silca Mistress (11/4), Javelin (11/4), Mecca's Spirit (7/2), Lady Grand (6/1), Hermana Santa (9/1), Bibbidibobbidiboo (16/1), Porrima (33/1), Sovereign Katie (33/1), Poppy Walton (40/1), Elysee Star (66/1), Brough Lane Lass (100/1)
Silca Mistress sets a reasonable standard but there is potentially a smart filly lurking amongst the newcomers with Mecca's Spirit and the Fahey pair, Javelin and LADY GRAND taking the eye on pedigrees. Mecca's Spirit represents an in form team and is the most expensive of these and is bred for speed, however that yard is only 2-33 with juveniles here. Richard Fahey had the winner last year as well as the third. LADY GRAND's dam was a useful juvenile and her yard have an excellent record with this age group on this course and that just leads us to favour her chances.
- Lady Grand
- Mecca's Spirit
- Silca Mistress
