Capable of some useful form in the past but of late he's as though he's gone backwards and was pulled-up in a Haydock handicap chase before finishing third of five, beaten 30L in a Warwick handicap chase over 3m1½f last month. Now 3lb lower than last win.
Best efforts have come on good ground or quicker, and he was quietly progressive throughout last season. Pulled up on soft and on good the last twice is a worry.
Not the biggest but plenty of heart, as she showed when winning back-to-back chases at Fakenham in the Autumn, but well beaten and no impression on last four starts and still only 2lb lower than last win.
Won a chase and a handicap hurdle after joining this yard, but was well beaten over timber at Warwick last time when he was given plenty to do, before finishing second of seven beaten 2¼L behind Gold Ingot in a Southwell handicap chase over 2m4½L.
Two from 18 races over fences, but ran well for a long way when third at Uttoxeter before winning a Huntingdon handicap chase over 2m4f on good ground, winning on his lowest handicap mark for a long time. Hit with a 6lb rise for that win.
Entering veteran stages of his career. Last seen under rules in a Newton Abbott handicap chase over 2m2f on good ground when well beaten, A couple of seconds and a win point-to-pointing since.
17lbs lower than last win under rules.
Sole success came in a Uttoxeter novices' handicap chase (2m4f, good to firm) in 2015 from 12lb higher than today. Has run plenty of good races in defeat over both hurdles and fences since then, but again likely to find at least one or two too good.

The Peter Bowen-trained Play The Ace could bowl along in front here, with Oyster Shell, Alberobello and Queen Spud, with the front-runner dangerous given he won over C&D in August last year, 6L clear of Hepijeu in second. The pace in the race could play in to the hands of the Richard Johnson-ridden, QUEEN SPUD who could be an each way wager, given the jockeys figures of 62/214/9/313 on the eight-year-old.
