Achieved a peak rating of 108 in his prime, he was a good second last time out at Gowran Park over this trip on heavy ground 15 days ago. Races off the same mark and has solid claims if in same mood again.
String of poor efforts have resulted in handicap mark dropping. On his day he'd be a force at these weight but was well behind Dinkum Diamond last time.
All four wins have come over 6f to date, good run on seasonal bow over that trip at Navan in April though since run les encouragingly at the Curragh. Has dropped below previous winning mark if bouncing back and proving stamina for this test.
Too bad to be true at Gowran Park over this trip (soft) last time out. Previous effort when beaten ¾L at Leopardstown off 83, along with earlier form this year, would have him in the frame.
Yet to win in 20 turf starts including when beaten 21L over 6f at the Curragh (yielding to soft) last time out. Return to 7f looks likely to suit but others are preferred today.
Returned from 327-day layoff with a 12L defeat over 1m as Leopardstown 12 days ago. Drops 1lb and gets first-time visor in bid to sharpen his game up a bit.
In decent form on the AW this year but not able to bring that across to turf in two runs so far, latest being 6L last of six at Listowel over 6½f early this month.
Effort at Leopardstown over 7f last month when beaten under 1L off a mark of 75 would give him potential for this, though didn't go as well since for this rider in apprentice contest back at the same venue upped to 1m. Leaves him with work to do.
Four efforts on turf last year, mostly at this trip, were decidedly poor. Has been off since finishing last of 12 in 7f Dundalk (AW) contest wont by Ishebayorgrey in December but is now rated 12lb lower than previous turf start. Chance on his old form.

The admirable Ishebayorgrey made up decent late ground over C&D last time out and could go well here off 2lb lower, while Captain Power has the credentials for this, though it must rank as a concern that all his previous wins have come over 6f. Top-weight Dinkum Diamond ran an excellent race last time out behind a very easy and impressive winner, so he is certainly worth considering off the same mark now. Korbous ran well over this trip on his penultimate start but a chance may be worth taking on CLUB WEXFORD. He ran a stinker at Gowran last time but it might be that the soft conditions there undermined him. Previously, he'd gone very close at Leopardstown in conditions similar to what he'll likely have here and he may bounce back.
