Colt out of a Zamindar mare by Fast Company. Closely related to French-Oaks winner Shemeka. £110,000 yearling. Stable coming back in to form with six win and place efforts over the last week.
Very cheap gelding, half-brother to 5f winners Spray Tan and Warm Order. Stable in fine form currently with winners on Friday at Chepstow and Golden Stunner just nutted on the line by Arabian Hope at York yesterday.
Penny was visibly dropping on debut here a month ago in a class 4 novice stakes over 5f on good to soft. A race, it must be said, that has not worked out perfectly from a form point.
Cheap buy out of a Theatrical mare by Requinto. Dam is a half-sister to Musical Script, 75-rated gelding who did most of his running at Kempton over 6f/7f.
270,000gns yearling half brother to a series of winners including Aetna, who won the listed Wentworth Stakes at Doncaster in 2014. By Kyllachy out of a Mind Games mare.
First foal, dam two-year-old winner, half sister to 1m, two-year-old Group 3 winner Songerie and listed winners Souvenance and Soft Morning.
Most experienced runner having her third career start following a third of 10, beaten ¾L behind Daddies Girl in a Salisbury Conditions Stakes, a race that has produced two winners from 13 starts, before finishing second of 10 in a Goodwood Novice Stakes at the end of the month. Strong contender.
40,000gns yearling, half-sister to numerous winners including the likes of Sir Patrick Moore, Stellar Path and War Story, second of eight in an Ascot handicap over 1m.
Forecasts
Billesdon Brook (10/11), Luna Eclipse (7/2), Shabaaby (6/1), Alba Power (10/1), Nyaleti (16/1), Watheer (16/1), Ragstone View (25/1), London's Burning (33/1)
BILLESDON BROOK is the one to beat here with good form in the book in her short career and coming from two races that have produced winners. It's a race that has a slight advantage for those leading or racing prominently. The selection could well be the one to make the running here, leading from pillar to post. Luna Eclipse and the expensive, Shabaaby could fill the places.
- Billesdon Brook
- Luna Eclipse
