Trip and ground both fine, and went some way towards halting recent slide with a better third at Down Royal last time. Jumping could do with tidying up but chances if building on that, with best efforts tending to come at this track.

Ran well in a point-to-point in April and made favourite to score at Fairyhouse back under Rules next time, but disappointed and finished off weakly. Drop back in trip may help and interesting for a good yard.

Was just starting to make a move when brought down at Punchestown latest, and may have hit the frame, but an overall record of 1 win in 37 starts tempers enthusiasm for win purposes today.

Has shown a bit of promise in both chase starts to date, and may be able to pick a race up along the line but all her best hurdles form came at shorter trips than this and she may find this stretching her stamina a bit.

Inconsistency creeping into her work, but his best efforts, as when a neck second over this C&D in March, put him right in the firing line. Possible this trip suits better than further and a big run not ruled out.

Goes handicapping over fences on a similar mark to his hurdles mark, and has shown a bit of promise without ever threatening to win a race recently. Improvement possible and both trip and ground should be fine. Not discounted.

Built on promise shown at Navan in March to score over fences at Tramore in April, the first time tongue-tie possibly helping the situation. Up in trip and likely different ground to cope with, so new questions to answer, but clearly in good heart.

Stays well and likes quick ground, so does have his plus points, but pulled up no tress on most recent hurdles start. Switch back to fences a positive though, and this veteran might outrun his likely big odds.

Not seen out since last December when his form had taken a major turn for the worse. Can only be watched on first run after a break today.

Didn't do too badly over hurdles at Cork in May but didn't build on that and put in a pretty mediocre effort on first chase start at Clonmel recently (first start for new yard). Bit to prove after that and others hold stronger claims.

Not much form to recommend, but the straw to clutch is that his best chase start (of three so far) came over this C&D in May, staying on late in the contest to finish within hailing distance of the winner. Risky, but any market support could be significant.

Admiral Bobt18
Age: 12|  Weight: 9-10| J: Rachael Blackmore(3)| T: Ms H P Markham| OR:  79
7/1
Old boy almost broke his duck here at Downpatrick in May (over just short of 3m) but was starting to come under pressure when brought down at Punchestown latest. 0-23 now so clearly risky for win purposes, but a better effort back here wouldn't be a surprise.

Forecasts

Heaney (3/1), I'm An Izz Wizz (9/2), Simiel (5/1), Tb Broke Her (6/1), Rufino (7/1), Admiral Bob (7/1), Urtheoneiwant (9/1), Drumhart (10/1), Solar Heat (12/1), Aces And Kings (16/1), Alices Man (16/1), Lord Lir (33/1)

Verdict

HEANEY hasn't tasted success since 2013 but his handicap mark is falling and he made his rules debut for this yard when finishing third at Fairyhouse last month. The selection is now rated 11lb lower than when last contesting a handicap and he can get the better of the lowly weighted Admiral Bob who ran well here in May. Rufino is another to note in here upped in trip having won over 2m last time out.
  1. Heaney
  2. Admiral Bob
  3. Rufino
