Finished 1L second to Riviera Sun in a seven runner contest off a 1lb lower mark at Kilbeggan (yielding-to-soft) last month. Well beaten off lower hurdles mark since and an interesting runner in this.
Saw off Smadynium when winning over 2m4f at Kilbeggan (yielding-to-soft) last month. Races off a 3lb higher mark in this and his best recent form has come with more give in the ground than is forecast today.
Run well the last twice including when third of 14 over 2m3f at Listowel (yielding) earlier this month when amateur rider ridden. Races off a 1lb higher mark here and interesting back up in trip.
Winner over fences at Limerick (heavy) over an extended 2m1f in March. Well held twice subsequently however and pulled up over 2m4f last time out at Kilbeggan (good).
Winner over an extended 2m2f on good ground here last August. Well beaten in the main since and finished 12L behind Riviera Sun when sixth of seven at Kilbeggan (yielding-to-soft) last time. Steps up in trip here.
Prolific point-to-point winner at up to 4m and landed the Ulster National over an extended 3m4f (good) on his return to rules racing here in March but struggled at Kelso (3m2f, good) since. Races off a 5lb higher mark than for his latest success and likely to race prominently today.
Finished runner-up the last twice including over 3m1f at Kilbeggan (good-to-yielding) earlier this month. Has been raised 2lb for that effort and any softening of the ground would likely aid his chances today.

Forecasts
Cecil Corbett (11/4), Garrai Phaidin (3/1), Anseanachai Cliste (4/1), Riviera Sun (5/1), Double Scores (6/1), Miss Blanche (8/1), Smadynium (11/1), Mitebeall Forluck (12/1), Stonehall Jack (12/1)
Ulster National winner ANSEANACHAI CLISTE can put a disappointing effort at Kelso behind him by taking this handicap chase. The selection drops back in trip here but remains unexposed in handicap company and off a mark 5lb higher than when winning here in March. Cecil Corbett steps back up in trip here having finished third over shorter and last time out and that can see claim second at the expense of Riviera Sun who won at Kilbeggan last month.
