Rounded off last year in an inauspicious manner and three starts this year have been much the same. Big ask to enhance record of 1/23 and others make plenty more appeal.
In super form over hurdles recently, winning two of previous three races. Not run on the Flat since August 2015 when winning 1m2f Brighton handicap off a mark of 76. Clearly has valid claims back in this sphere.
Sole turf success from 14 came over 1m2f at Leopardstown in July, has won on the AW this year (1m4f) but perhaps a bit high in the ratings for this contest based on three turf runs since.
Two wins from 11 starts and down to a lenient handicap mark now based on solid effort over 1m1f at Gowran Park on testing ground last month. Stamina is a question mark for this trip.
Six-race maiden on the Flat when in the hands of James Fanshawe in Britain, collected a maiden hurdle at Downpatrick last summer after joining this yard but did not progress after. Market may be best guide to expectations on Flat return after 229 days away.
Showed nothing in two bumpers last summer then did a little better on the Flat without ever threatening to win. Well held in 2m1f maiden hurdle last month at Ballinrobe and hard to build a case here.
Maiden after nine starts but ran well for a long way over 1m4f at Tipperary (soft) on debut for this yard last month. Marginal drop in trip should suit and interesting off the same mark again.
Two of three runs on turf since joining this yard having been very good at up to 1m2f, winning a Clonmel claimer in early May before decent effort on good ground at Fairyhouse on the first of the month. Upped in distance, may have more to say though not favoured by the weights in this contest (Engaged 20:50 at Fairyhouse on Friday).

Forecasts
Fiesole (7/4), Roibeard (10/3), Highly Toxic (9/2), Mainicin (6/1), Indian Tomahawk (10/1), Forcefull (10/1), Miro (12/1), Spinning Pearl (12/1), Glib Speech (14/1), Silent Dreamer (16/1), Baby Bellini (20/1)
Indian Tomahawk would have some claims if turning up here based on recent turf efforts, though he isn't getting any favours at the weight, while Silent Dreamer shaped well for a long way at Tipperary last time out and might now do better. Roibeard must prove his stamina will last out while Mainicin is respected but possibly too high in the ratings just now so the nod goes to FIESOLE. He's been doing very well over jumps recently (two wins from previous three) and is appealingly weighted on his old British Flat form based on that well-being.
- Fiesole
- Roibeard
- Indian Tomahawk
