He normally takes a run or two to reach his peak and the booking of the champion rider looks significantly timed. Deep Challenger went well enough at Goodwood off this mark to be a threat but the vote goes to PUMBLECHOOK. Two miles found him out last time but he had gone well behind a well treated rival prior to that. His form of last year puts him on an attractive mark and showed he is suited to a stiff 1m4f such as this. With Daisy Boy to ensure a fair gallop he has a lot going for him.
