Improved effort in the mud at Carlisle last week and this may not be as competitive as the numbers suggest. Clearly going the right way and another positive ride will ask searching questions of her rivals.
Led out unsold at €135,000 when going through the sales ring at Arqana. Daughter of the speedy Invincible Spirit out of the top-class mare Strawberry Roan who has produced several winners. Those bloodlines will have her supporters relying on the sire's side of the pedigree as the dam is an influence for stamina. Yard in form and have a good crop of juveniles.
€60,000 purchase from the first crop of Most improved. Dam has produced a winner in France. Yard's juveniles are yet to fire and others look more likely.
From the first crop of Havana Gold out of a mare who won seven races including the July Cup and who has produced several winners. Bred for speed and at 40,000 gns he is an expensive buy for the yard.
Equiano filly and first foal to make the track for an unraced dam who was related to the speedy Bounty Box.
Daughter of Assertive out of a mare who has produced a couple of multiple winning sprint handicappers. Highly tried on debut and maybe one for the future.
€50,000 purchase looked in need of the experience on Lingfield debut. Should come on for the run and appreciate this more straightforward track.
Trainer handled the sire and dam. Both were better suited to faster conditions than she had on her Windsor debut. Looked green then and could do better for a yard who are 7-24 with their runners here.
Well related filly who shaped better for the extra furlong and the fitting of cheekpieces at Kempton. Positively ridden that day and faces competition up front from the topweight.
€125,000 Kodiac filly out of a well related dam. Yard (who took this last year) have had winners with 14 of their 51 juveniles to have raced and many of these are improving for a run. Worth a check in the market on her debut.
£35,000 Royal Applause filly and half-sister to Solar Flair who won five sprints for this yard including one as a juvenile. Trainer has a 5-22 record here but you would normally expect his horses to improve for a run.
Has shown little in two starts at a modest level and the early fitting of blinkers raises doubts as to her attitude.

Izzy Bizu (6/4), Mraseel (4/1), Supersymmetry (5/1), Gigi (6/1), Point Hope (8/1), Sensory (10/1), Little Miss Lilly (16/1), Royal Wave (16/1), Bucks Frizz (22/1), Be Mindful (25/1), Blazing Beryl (33/1), Choral Music (50/1), Elegant Joan (66/1)
IZZY BIZU could be vulnerable to an improver under her penalty but there can be little doubt her latest effort is the outstanding piece of form on offer here. The runner-up that day had chased home the useful Validator previously. Having given him weight and a 5L beating she will take some catching. Mraseel improved for the fitting of cheekpieces last time but she may not be able to dictate the pace with Izzy Bizu in the lineup. If the pair take each other on that could set the race up for Gigi or Supersymmetry who will be finishing well. Point Hope is the most interesting of the newcomers.
- Izzy Bizu
- Mraseel
