Horse A-Z
Pulled up in both point-to-points and finished 11th of 13 on his sole bumper run for his previous trainer. Has his first run for his new stable and needs to show vast improvement to figure.
Placed in three of his nine point-to-points, he has his first run under rules for his leading stable. Not an obvious one on what he has achieved so far, but the market might prove the most accurate guide to his chances.

Only moderate form in six point-to-points. He tries his luck in a bumper, but can only be watched on his debut for this stable.
Cost 11,000 euros as a 2yo and hails from a winning family in France. Makes his debut and is worth a check for any support in the betting market.

Moderate form in four point-to-points. Makes her first appearance for this stable and is likely to need the experience.
Only limited promise in a couple of bumpers at Warwick and Ludlow. Probably has improvement in her, but may be a long-term prospect.
Cost a meagre E2,500 as a 3yo and is a half-sister to a couple of point-to-point winners. Represents a leading stable, so will have been well prepared for her debut and is worth a second look.

Forecasts

Nobodydoesitbetter (9/4), Keyboard Warrior (11/4), Gertie Getaway (3/1), Country'n'western (4/1), Ragged Dream (11/2), Gaelic Surprise (10/1), Bubbles Arcade (11/1), The Land Agent (20/1), Jubilee Lass (20/1), Nuclear (20/1)

Verdict

Not many of these leap off the page. Gertie Getaway was only cheap but represents a top yard and has to be considered if the market speaks for her, while Nobodydoesitbetter also represents respected connections and enters the equation despite boasting only moderate form in point-to-points.. Nuclear can step up on his distant debut second, but the one which sets a clear standard is COUNTRY'N'WESTERN, who returned from a long break last time and is much better judged on his winning debut at Carlisle.
  1. Country'n'western
  2. Gertie Getaway
  3. Nobodydoesitbetter
