4/6
Versatile perfomer who boasts a tremendous strike rate, winning two of his three bumpers, four of his six hurdle races and both his chase starts. He beat a decent rival on his Kempton chasing debut before winning at long odds-on against modest opposition at Warwick last time. Has a lot to do giving weight to a talented rival, but his record has to be respected.

5/4
Mixed it in decent handicap company over hurdles and ran well on his chasing debut at Uttoxeter to be fourth to horses of the calibre of Charbel, Le Prezien and Top Notch. It was surprising he had a break from chasing after that, but he returned to the bigger obstacles at Huntingdon last time where he unseated the champion jockey at the fourth fence. Has to be given a chance to atone getting weight from his main rival.

50/1
Moderate point-to-pointer who makes his Rules debut against two talented rivals. Jumping round for third-place prize money will probably be the height of his ambitions.

Forecasts

Bagad Bihoue (4/6), Kayf Blanco (5/4), Valshan Time (50/1)

Verdict

Bagad Bihoue's record speaks volumes for his trainer's ability to places his horses to maximum effect. He is 2-2 over fences and has to be feared, but KAYF BLANCO was decent over hurdles and the form of his chasing debut would see him home in receipt of weight from his main rival. Valsham Time looks to be making up the numbers.
  1. Kayf Blanco
  2. Bagad Bihoue
  3. Valshan Time
