Filly has been a source of frustration since winning Leopardstown maiden over 1m2f in July, she's been disappointing in two outings this term albeit both came in pattern races. Has chance to start rebuilding now.

Career best effort when winning six-runner handicap at Listowel (6½f, good) last time out and deserves chance based on that positive effort.

Left debut run well behind to win 7f Limerick maiden (good) last time out, this requires another significant step forward.

Off the mark in a Gowran Park maiden earlier this month over this trip, since found things too hot in a Curragh Group 3 over 6f but should be back in the mix now with hood returning in these calmer waters.

Both outings have come over this 6f at Naas so far, landing a maiden 46 days on good to firm ground. This represents a jump in class but the yard are in fine form lately and cannot be ruled out with any degree of certainty.

Forecasts

Music Box (5/2), Virtudes (5/2), Orangey Red (10/3), Mollie The Moo (9/2), Cirin Toinne (8/1)

Verdict

Music Box was given a bit much to chew on last time out in a Group 3 and should relish this drop back in class with the trusted hood back as well. She's anything but bullet-proof however. Top-weight Cirin Toinne is also dropping in class but conceding weight in a contest as wide open as this one is far from ideal. Virtudes is on the upgrade for a yard in form but this might go the way of Listowel winner ORANGEY RED, who comes in off the back of a career-best and may not have finished improving. Mollie The Moo, maiden winner at Limerick last time, will need more improvement but that is entirely possible.
  1. Orangey Red
  2. Music Box
  3. Cirin Toinne
