Winner of three of his 24 starts on the Flat and ran well the last twice over hurdles. Finished runner-up at Ffos Las (good-to-soft) over 2m last month and interesting to see how he fares upped in trip.

5/1
Useful performer on the Flat but well held behind Delface at Ffos Las (good-to-soft) on first run for this yard and debut over hurdles last month. Better ground forecast here should suit.
Pulled up in a bumper on debut for previous stable at Kempton (good) in March 2015. Unraced since and making his hurdling and stable debut in this.

Successful three times on the Flat and best hurdles effort came when 14L third of ten over 2m6f at Stratford (good) in October 2016. Disappointed subsequently and drops back in trip here with blinkers replacing the usual cheekpieces on his first outing since December.
Unraced gelded son of Captain Marvelous. Purchased for €14,000 at the sales in June 2015. Worth a check in the market for a good local stable on his debut today.

Finished runner-up in a bumper at Ascot (good) in October last year. Finished fourth when making his hurdles debut over an extended 2m at Bangor (good-to-soft) last month and an interesting runner in this.

33/1
Glimpses of ability in bumpers but pulled up on debut for this yard on heavy ground here in February 2016. Probably best watched returning from a long absence today.
Unraced son of Gleaming and the first foal of point-to-point and hunter chase winner Mysaynoway (winner at up to an extended 4m2f). Likely to appreciate further over time but worth a check in the market here.

Forecasts

Present Destiny (13/8), Captain George (3/1), Norab (7/2), Gang Warfare (5/1), Now Listen Here (25/1), Rob Robin (33/1), Mickey Buckman (33/1), Jim The Danger (33/1)

Verdict

NORAB ran well over hurdles at Stratford in October and can register his first victory in this sphere at the fourth attempt. The selection hasn't been seen since disappointing at Chepstow in December and can get the better of Present Destiny who ran well last time out while Captain George is taken to finish third here.
  1. Norab
  2. Present Destiny
  3. Captain George
