Finished runner-up over C&D on good ground in April but pulled up at Plumpton (good-to-firm) subsequently. Races off a 2lb higher mark than for that second and interesting if returning to form.
In good form of late winning twice last month including over 2m7f at Worcester (soft) off an 11lb lower mark. Drop back in trip shouldn't inconvenience too much and previous success came on much quicker ground.
Well beaten in three starts since winning off a 3lb lower mark at Ludlow (soft) over 2m5f in November. Worth a check in the market in first time cheekpieces today.
Successful on his penultimate start for this yard over 2m4f at Wincanton (good-to-firm) in April. Beaten 11L at Towcester dropping down in trip subsequently and likely to run well again today.
Off the mark at the second attempt in this sphere when winning a maiden event over 2m at Wetherby (good) in April. Well beaten off a 2lb higher mark on handicap debut at Worcester last month and others make more appeal here.
Finished runner-up at Huntingdon the last twice including in a four runner contest at the end of last month. Handles this trip and likely ground conditions and jockey takes an additional 10lb off.
Well beaten in four starts since finishing runner-up at Doncaster (good) over 2m5f in December. Handicap mark is falling as a result and interesting given this is likely to be less competitive than the Limerick contest he ran in last time out.
Winner here off a 5lb higher mark on good-to-firm ground in August last year. Stepped up on his return from a break when finishing 14L third over an extended 2m3f at Huntingdon (good) last month and interesting for shrewd connections.
Forecasts
Benny In Milan (5/2), Amron Kali (4/1), Mighty Missile (6/1), Lord Topper (7/1), Royal Battalion (8/1), Knight's Parade (9/1), Prouts Pub (9/1), Wolftrap (12/1)
AMRON KALI can complete a hat-trick by taking this handicap hurdle. The selection has finished in the first three in all bar one of his eight starts since joining this stable and can get the better of Mighty Missile who appeared to appreciate the drop in trip last time out. Royal Batallion is taken to finish third for a good local stable.
- Amron Kali
- Mighty Missile
- Royal Battalion
