Disappointing of late and handicap mark is falling as a result. Now rated 8lb lower than when winning over 2m3f at Haydock (good) in May last year and worth a check in the market with a tongue tie worn for the first time.
Dual point-to-point and hurdle winner. Finished 7L second over an extended 2m1f on good-to-soft ground here last time out. Should appreciate the better ground forecast here and likely to run well in this contest.
Winner of both of his starts since joining this stable from Ireland. Most recent success came over an extended 2m4f at Southwell (good) three weeks ago and he wears a tongue tie for the first time racing off an 8lb higher mark today.
Winner 11 times in a 74 race career including twice over fences. Well held over hurdles in recent starts including when second in a seller at Fakneham in April and appears to have plenty to do if he's to take this.
